The following is transcribed from a session by The Wonders entitled "I Was Born With This Navel" which is the first tape in the series "The Exploration Of Beingness" (Series no. 291) . When we are born we are attached to our mother by the umbilical cord. This is where the process of growth began, at the 3rd Chakra, and expanded eventually into our consciousness. In this teaching you will begin to understand the process of birth from the perspective of energy, and you will realize that the empowerment energy of the mother, though combined with that of the father, is the strength through which birth is possible.

Transcript:
Greetings.

This particular workshop dear friends will move you, if you choose, towards the state of beingness. It won't move you into it for you must choose that. But it will lead you, guide you, assist you, and support you in your choices to move towards beingness.

When individuals are born, in effect as we've suggested previously in other sessions, the energy of the third chakra is what begins the seed of growth. It is through that energy that a sperm and an egg begin and it is through that energy then that in effect you move yourself and grow from it. The navel itself is, from a physical perspective, the point at which the umbilical cord attaches itself to the placenta which of course feeds the physical body. But in truth dear friends it is an energy, a third chakra energy, that begins this process. So your navels dear friends are very much, when you are fetus, the center of your third chakra energy. It is an extension of mother energy and father energy. And it is from there that you begin to grow. So it could be said that you were simply a navel and that you grew around it.

Now from there then the growth takes place. But what is growth? Growth on a physical level, yes you're very aware of that and you know the stages of a fetus's growth. In fact there are scientific exhibits that would show you this. So from that perspective there is no need for repetition here. But what we're suggesting is, the growth that occurs, this third chakra energy extends itself, moves, expands and from this seed of energy grows then that which you are. It is from this seed that in effect all the other chakras begin to manifest themselves as the fetus develops.

It is from this seed then that eventually your consciousness will infuse itself into your physical body. It is from this seed of energy that in effect the you that is you, soul essence, all the way to God/Goddess/The All That Is extends itself. And so it is through the navel dear friends that you begin the process of growth. Now why the navel? It just happens to be where you're connected to the placenta, to the mother energy. If the umbilical cord was connected to your foreheads then you would grow from your foreheads. Unfortunately then you would have a hole in your head. So it was designed that the physical body would be representative of the third chakra energy, the bridge in effect, not the bridge of the fourth chakra but the bridge of the third. And from the third the power, the center of empowerment, would begin the process of growth for it requires power to grow. It requires power to expand.

In the last few days we've given two sessions in regards to empowerment. Both sessions designed to bring you to this point. and yes for those of you who have attended, you guessed it right. However dear friends recognize that the empowerment of the self moves through this navel, third chakra energy.

Now what we're talking about here is not the ability to be stronger than, better than, greater than anyone else. This is not empowerment. What we're discussing here is the empowerment of energy that comes from choosing to grow. As the seed of energy, as that which you began, you made a choice. The energy, that which you are, chose to grow and this seed grew. It grew sufficiently to expand itself into a variety of chakras into a physicality that is changed and altered from the original sperm and egg perspective. And into a beingness that encompasses a physical and an energy self, sufficient to create a oneness.

You, dear friends, as much as you fight the perspective, you are a oneness. For that is where you grew from. Now because we've suggested here that the navel is the physical representation of the energy, some of you will ask, well what's the difference between an innie and an outie. For after all some have innie navels and some have outie navels. There is no difference. However do recognize dear friends that the energy that you project to the world is reflective of your navel. So if you have an innie the majority of individuals will be introspective. If you have an outie the majority of the individuals will be extroverted. This is not to say that this is a given, that this is an absolute. For change can be made. But as a perspective that's a perspective to observe.

Now. Why? Because the navel is representative of the third chakra energy. One that moves itself inwards and outwards. And those who would see themselves as extroverted, those who would define themselves through the basis of others, would observe their navels as that which would then push towards others. Those who would then define themselves as introverted, as absorbing, as bringing into themselves from others, then they would define themselves as inward moving towards their navel. And this is just a little aside. It doesn't mean a great deal but then we know that you will attach a great deal to it.

So from the perspective of the energy that you are. It is from this third chakra energy that you expand. From there the first and the second were created. From there the fourth, the fifth, the sixth and the seventh were created. And it is as the fetus progressed that these chakras were created. For the physical manifestation, and do recognize this is nothing more than a physical representation, of an energy being.

Now. Ask yourselves this question if the physical representation is nothing more than a physical manifestation of energy beings then dear friends could it not be said that as soul essences you are very similar for you do have similar physical bodies don't you? You don't have two heads. Most of you only have one. Most of you have two arms and two legs. True? So therefore your physical body, the physical attributes, are a reflection of a physical energy, of the energy of that which you are, manifested into a physical existence. And it could be said then that from a soul essence perspective, from an energy perspective, you are representative of similar energy. Now similar doesn't mean that it's exactly the same. But there is enough similarity that the experience of physicality is chosen by yourselves to represent a similar physicality. Those who would be deformed when born, those who would have less arms, legs etc., those who would be born in a deformed position, is a representation of an energy source that has chosen differently. And so therefore the energy of growth was altered prior to physical manifestation.

Now. From this perspective then recognize that each of you as we did say is a oneness between the physical and the energy that you are. Your energy is represented by your physical, manifested through the physical and as the energy of that which you are, which as we did say isn't just your physical, but is an energy moving beyond that, it could be said, to the perspective of soul essence; it could be said to the perspective of beingness that you are. That dear friends is the energy that you perceive on a physical level. Which is why as you create within the energy of that which you are perspectives of alteration, perspectives of change, perspectives of growth so too then does it exist within the physical realm.
